GE Vernova rose ~5% on Sep 16 after management said Q3 order strength keeps it on track for a $200B backlog early in 2027, lifting Quanta Services and Eaton in sympathy. Two days earlier GLJ Research started GEV at Sell ($470), calling it a cyclical gas-turbine maker priced as a secular compounder, and the group sold off. The datacenter power-and-grid bottleneck thesis is intact but the valuation debate is now two-sided.
