[FLASH] AMD Q3 data-center revenue up 97% to $8.5B; Q4 guide about $17B, 2027 growth seen above 80%

AMD reported Q3 revenue of $13.38B and adjusted EPS of $2.09, both above consensus. Data Center revenue reached a record $8.5B, up 97%. Per CNBC, management guided Q4 revenue to about $17B, expects 2027 revenue growth of at least 80%, and said supply rather than demand is the main constraint. Yahoo Finance reported the shares were roughly unchanged during Wednesday's session after an earlier premarket gain. Separately, the Globe and Mail reported that a securities filing valued AMD's pending Taalas deal at about US$2.9B, of which about US$1.4B is contingent. Points to watch: delivery on the Q4 guide, PC weakness, and Taalas regulatory approval.
