[DEVELOPING] Google rolls out Gemini 4 Argon to the Gemini app and Search AI Mode for paying subscribers
On Oct 13, Google extended Gemini 4 Argon from the AI Ultra tier to AI Pro subscribers in the Gemini app, and made it selectable in Search AI Mode for Pro and Ultra users. The default model for free AI Mode users is unchanged. 9to5Google reports introductory API pricing of $2/$10 per million input/output tokens through Nov 30, rising to $4/$20 after that.
