Butterfly Effect, the parent of AI-agent startup Manus, announced a funding round of more than $500M led by Boyu Capital, with Tencent among the participants. It is the company's first raise since the Meta deal was unwound. The valuation was not disclosed. SiliconANGLE cites an earlier Bloomberg report of about $4B. The round shows continued private capital flowing to agent platforms. Still to watch: valuation confirmation and Manus 2.0 adoption.
