[UPDATE] HBM capacity for 2026 reported preallocated across SK Hynix, Micron and Samsung
The three largest high-bandwidth-memory suppliers are reported to have preallocated their entire 2026 capacity, with Micron's HBM supply sold out at contracted pricing and HBM4 in high-volume production since Q2. Morgan Stanley raised its Applied Materials target on the DRAM spending outlook, and AMAT has lifted its calendar-2026 semi-equipment growth view to above 30% from above 20%. Memory is currently the tightest link in the AI supply chain and the one most exposed to a capacity response.
