[FLASH] SpaceX discloses ~$40B binding GPU lease financing with Apollo-managed entity for Nvidia Vera Rubin systems
A SpaceX regulatory filing shows a binding commitment for about $40B. Under it, an Apollo-managed entity will buy Nvidia Vera Rubin systems and data center gear and lease them to SpaceX for roughly 5 to 5.25 years. Closing is expected before year-end 2026, and deliveries in H1 2027. SpaceX called it the largest committed GPU financing. TechCrunch reports that SpaceX's AI segment generated $7.6B of $14.6B in Q3 revenue. Musk publicly said the deal had 'closed', which conflicts with the filing's description of a lease still subject to closing conditions. Next to watch: final pricing and closing.
